Green is very IN nowadays.  People are stepping up and taking responsibility for the damage our environment has sustained after years of abuse and neglect.  And we should be right to be concerned.  The Earth after all, is the only planet where human beings can live.  Without our planet, we would not only have a home but we would also cease to exist.

This is one of the primary reasons why we should do everything we can to green our way of living.  As usual, change begins at home and it is there that we can slowly initiate the change needed in order to take care of our ailing planet.

Leonardo Di Caprio and his Eco Green Lifestyle



Leonardo Di Caprio is one of Tinseltown’s most sought after actors.  He has come a long way indeed from his fresh faced days as “Jack” in Titanic.  Today Di Caprio is not only an Oscar nominated actor but also an outspoken environmentalist.

To show the world his commitment to sustainable and eco friendly living, he has purchased an eco friendly apartment in New York’s Riverhouse complex.  He has also traded in is hybrid Toyota Prius for a Tesla Roadster, his first sports car.

“Green”Laptops



            Apple has done it again, by creating something spectacular, even though everything they create is notorious in every way. They are the new ‘Green Notebooks’. No they are not really green laptops. They are the hottest laptop known to be Eco-Friendly. They are highly recyclable and have even more energy then other laptops offered by Apple. These incredible notebooks are being sold everyday, for there sleek style and their friendly environmentally status.

           Apple has worked extremely hard to eliminate the numerous toxins that are primarily used to manufacture notebooks. They have also done this with other green products of there’s such as: MacBook computers, iPod touch, iPod Classic, iPhone 3G, and the iPod nano. In addition to the removal of toxins, this infamous laptop is completely recyclable and every material within this notebook can be reused in other products for recycled aluminum and glass. Both of which are very wanted by recyclers whom use it to their advantage on other products.

Eco-Friendly Cell Phones



Everyone in today’s society uses a cell phone. Whether their text messaging, calling, or emailing from the palm of their hands; they are used on a daily basis whereas people are also becoming addicted. Now there is an infamous new gadget that was recently released and is now all the rave about a phone that is ‘eco-friendly’! The two Samsung W510 and F268 phones are commendable, and the latest thing to be known as a ‘life saver’.

Marketing these phones that are created from ‘bio-plastic’, Samsung has publicized its words of being alarmed about the growing need to explore eco-friendly options. However, I doubt anyone would have thought it be a phone! They have become known as “Green Phones”, they are made from a natural material extracted from corn that cannot pollute the environment, unlike a standard manufactured cell phone.
